This benefit applies only to cards issued in the Czech Republic &#8211; it does not apply on trains.<br \/>\n      <\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>Why are student discounts not recognized in Prague for single tickets?<\/summary>\n<p>        <strong>Discounts in suburban transport are decided by the state through the Ministry of Transport and the Central Bohemian Region, while discounts in Prague are decided by the Prague City Hall.<\/strong> Both have different interests in prioritizing different groups of passengers and different financial possibilities to compensate carriers for individual discounts; it&#8217;s not just about the decision itself. <strong>Passengers aged 15 to 26 have discounted only prepaid tickets in Prague, not single ones.<\/strong> However, prepaid tickets in Prague are significantly discounted, so it pays off already with three round trips to the city per month.<br \/>\n      <\/details>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>  <!-- BOX: P\u0159epravn\u00ed podm\u00ednky --><\/p>\n<div class=\"faq-box\" style=\"background: #f9f9f9; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 12px; margin-bottom: 30px; box-shadow: 0 2px 6px rgba(0,0,0,0.05);\">\n<h3 style=\"margin: 0; padding: 12px 18px; background: #f0f0f0; color: #444; border-radius: 12px 12px 0 0; font-size: 1.1rem; font-weight: 600;\">Transport Conditions<\/h3>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px;\">\n<details>\n<summary>Can a bus driver refuse to transport a passenger with a dog if there is already one dog in the vehicle?<\/summary>\n<p>        PID transport conditions allow the transport of <strong>only one dog per platform.<\/strong> An exception is the situation where <strong>one passenger transports two dogs<\/strong>, or a stroller is already being transported.<br \/>\n      <\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>What about request stops in PID?<\/summary>\n<p>        From 2024, <strong>all bus and trolleybus stops within the Prague Integrated Transport (PID) are unified as &#8220;request stops&#8221;.<\/strong> Passengers must <strong>signal their intention to exit in time by pressing the button in the vehicle; for boarding, it is sufficient to stand visibly in the stop area<\/strong> so that the driver can react in time to the passenger&#8217;s request to board. The aim of this change is to speed up transport, reduce fuel consumption, and increase travel comfort. The change applies to both urban and suburban lines throughout the PID system.<br \/>\n      <\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>What about consuming food and drinks in vehicles?<\/summary>\n<p>        In public transport, <strong>it is forbidden to eat and drink, as well as to bring beverages in open containers or unwrapped food (except on trains)<\/strong>, to maintain cleanliness and comfort for all passengers. <strong>The driver has the right to prohibit travel to passengers who violate this ban,<\/strong> as they are responsible for safety and order in the vehicle.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background:#f9f9f9; border:1px solid rgba(255,0,0,0.3); border-radius:0.75rem; padding:1rem; box-shadow:0 2px 4px rgba(0,0,0,0.05); margin-top:1rem; position: relative;\">\n          <span style=\"position: absolute; top: -0.75rem; left: 1rem; background: #f9f9f9; padding: 0 0.5rem; font-size: 0.9rem; color: #666;\">Did you know that&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0.5rem;\">How to tell if a cup is suitable for transport?<\/p>\n<p>Turn the filled cup upside down. However, you can <strong>add multiple different carriers<\/strong> to your account (for example, a payment card, mobile phone, In Karta, etc.) <strong>and choose which one to store the ticket on.<\/strong><br \/>\n      <\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>In the PID L\u00edta\u010dka app, payment for ticket purchase was deducted, but the ticket did not arrive. Is it possible to claim the payment?<\/summary>\n<p>        Of course, in this matter, we recommend contacting the electronic fare system administrator in the Prague Integrated Transport network, the municipal <strong>company Oper\u00e1tor ICT<\/strong>, you can use the email address <a href=\"info@pidlitacka.cz\">info@pidlitacka.cz,<\/a> or the telephone information line <strong>+420 246 030 970 with operating hours on weekdays from 8:00 to 16:00<\/strong>.<br \/>\n      <\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>In the PID L\u00edta\u010dka app, I cannot purchase a discounted prepaid ticket, what should I do?<\/summary>\n<p>        <strong>The app is primarily set to basic fare (without discount)<\/strong>. If the passenger requires some discount, and has already documented the relevant entitlement earlier, then it is necessary to visit one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/pid.cz\/kontakty\/prodejni-mista\/\">PID pre-sale points<\/a> once, where they will verify the discount and subsequently register it in the app. For further purchases, it is not necessary to physically visit the branches. <strong>In the case of the Student 18-26 years tariff category, the entitlement to the discount is documented each school\/academic year separately. Everything can be handled online by supplementing the user profile with the ISIC card number.<\/strong><br \/>\n      <\/details>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>  <!-- BOX: Platba kartou --><\/p>\n<div class=\"faq-box\" style=\"background: #f9f9f9; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 12px; margin-bottom: 30px; box-shadow: 0 2px 6px rgba(0,0,0,0.05);\">\n<h3 style=\"margin: 0; padding: 12px 18px; background: #f0f0f0; color: #444; border-radius: 12px 12px 0 0; font-size: 1.1rem; font-weight: 600;\">Payment by Card<\/h3>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px;\">\n<details>\n<summary>When paying in public transport, the billing for traveled journeys does not match, or only 1 CZK was deducted?<\/summary>\n<p>        When purchasing tickets with a payment card, it may happen that a small amount is temporarily deducted from your account, <strong>for example, 1 CZK<\/strong>. <strong>This is a standard bank security procedure<\/strong>, by which the bank verifies that the card is active. This <strong>amount is only temporary and automatically returned to the account<\/strong> during final settlement.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, if you make <strong>multiple journeys over several days, the bank may combine multiple payments together.<\/strong> <strong>Instead of several individual items, you will see one summary amount.<\/strong> For example, instead of two separate payments of 70 CZK and 40 CZK, one payment of 110 CZK may appear.<\/p>\n<p>This behavior depends purely on your bank&#8217;s settings and <strong>cannot be influenced from our side in any way<\/strong>. It is not an error, but a completely standard way of processing payments that banks use for efficiency and cost savings.<br \/>\n      <\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>During a bus ride, the card payment terminal did not work, does the driver have the right not to transport me?<\/summary>\n<p>        <strong>Card payment is not guaranteed.<\/strong> The option to pay by card in the vehicle is an additional service, not an obligation. Just like in a store \u2013 if the terminal doesn&#8217;t work, you don&#8217;t get the purchase for free.
