These documents are primarily intended for passengers who, due to a delay, missed work or school obligations and can be used as an official proof for an employer, school, or another institution.<\/p>\n<p>Delay confirmations may be issued in cases where the delay exceeds 10 minutes. The document can only be issued if the delay is officially recorded in the internal system. Delay confirmations cannot be issued based on unofficial information.<\/p>\n<section>\n<div class=\"card\">\n<ul>\n<li>Available <strong>from suburban bus drivers or online<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Valid <strong>only for services<\/strong> operated within the <strong>PID<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Requires providing the <strong>date<\/strong> and <strong>time<\/strong> of the service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Ways to Obtain a Delay Confirmation<\/h3>\n<p>    Passengers can request a delay confirmation in several ways:<\/p>\n<p>    <strong>1. Directly from a suburban bus driver or a train conductor<\/strong> \u2013 Drivers issue the delay confirmation upon a passenger\u2019s verbal request, or they may refer the passenger to submit an electronic request via e-mail or the <a href=\"https:\/\/pid.cz\/kontakty\/\">contact form<\/a>. On city bus routes, drivers do not issue delay confirmations. You can use the <a href=\"https:\/\/pid.cz\/kontakty\/\">contact form<\/a> to obtain one. On trains, the conductor can issue a delay confirmation on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>    <strong>2. At PID information centers<\/strong> \u2013 In selected locations in Prague, passengers can request a delay confirmation based on data from the information system. Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) information centers issue delay confirmations only for DPP-operated lines.<\/p>\n<p>    <strong>3. Online request<\/strong> \u2013 You can also request a delay confirmation online via e-mail: <a href=\"mailto:info@pid.cz\">info@pid.cz<\/a>. You must provide the basic trip details (date, time, route, boarding and alighting stops, etc.). Alternatively, you can apply via the <a href=\"https:\/\/pid.cz\/kontakty\/\">contact form<\/a> by selecting \u201cZPO\u017dD\u011aNKA\u201d as the subject and filling in all required information.\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<div class=\"card\">\n<section id=\"seat-reservations\" style=\"margin-top: 50px;\"><\/section>\n<h2>Seat Reservations<\/h2>\n<p>  Within the Prague Integrated Transport (PID) system, most services operate on a free seating basis, meaning there is no option to reserve seats. However, there are exceptions where seat reservations are available.<\/p>\n<h3>Seat Reservations on Suburban and Long-Distance Trains<\/h3>\n<p>  The PID system also includes regional and long-distance trains where seat reservations may be available.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regional and suburban trains (S lines) \u2013 On trains included in the PID system, seat reservations are not possible. Passengers may use any available seat.<\/li>\n<li>Fast trains and long-distance trains (R lines) \u2013 On some long-distance services (e.g., express trains and certain fast trains), seat reservations may be available. On certain long-distance services, passengers may travel with a valid PID ticket, but the seat reservation must be purchased separately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Train seat reservations can be purchased:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>At Czech Railways (\u010cD) ticket offices.<\/li>\n<li>Via the \u010cD e-shop and mobile app.<\/li>\n<li>From the conductor on the train (a surcharge may apply).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<h3>Seat Reservations on PID Buses<\/h3>\n<p>On regular city and suburban PID bus routes, seat reservations are generally not available. Each passenger may take any available seat on a first-come, first-served basis. An exception may be long-distance routes where the carrier allows seat reservations. These include routes (400, 405, 410, 700, 720, 730), for which a reservation can be made via the <a href=\"https:\/\/idos.cz\/vlakyautobusymhdvse\/spojeni\/\">IDOS<\/a> web portal, <a href=\"https:\/\/amsbus.cz\/\">AMS Bus<\/a>, in person at our information centers at \u010cern\u00fd Most and Zli\u010d\u00edn, or at other presale locations.<\/p>\n<h3>Special Seats in PID<\/h3>\n<p>Even without a reservation, certain types of seats are designated for passengers with specific needs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reserved seats for persons with disabilities<\/li>\n<li>Spaces for strollers and wheelchairs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section id=\"group-travel\" style=\"margin-top: 50px;\"><\/section>\n<h2>Group Travel<\/h2>\n<\/section>\n<p>When traveling with multiple people within the Prague Integrated Transport (PID) system, the rules depend on the type of transport the group is using and the area in which they are traveling. The following overview outlines the basic rules and options for group travel in each mode of transport.<\/p>\n<h3>Group Travel on Trains (S and R Lines)<\/h3>\n<p>On trains included in the PID system, passengers can use <strong>Czech Railways (\u010cD) group tickets<\/strong>, or tickets from other railway operators if the route is served by them.<\/p>\n<h4>\u010cD Group Discount:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Available for <strong>groups of 2 or more people<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Tickets can be purchased online (\u010cD e-shop, \u201cM\u016fj vlak\u201d app) or at ticket offices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Group Travel on Public Transport in Prague<\/h3>\n<p>Within Prague\u2019s public transport network (metro, trams, buses, trolleybuses, ferries), there is no need to notify the operator about a group. Services run so frequently that larger groups can simply split into several vehicles. There is also <strong>no standard group ticket<\/strong> available, but there are certain options and exceptions:<\/p>\n<h4>a) Free travel for children (ages 6\u201310):<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Children aged 6\u201310 travel free of charge in Prague \u2013 there is no need to prove age. The rules differ on trains.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>b) Free travel for children (ages 10\u201315):<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Children aged 10\u201315 travel free of charge in Prague \u2013 however, proof of age is required in the form of any official document (passport, ID card, etc.). The rules differ on trains.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If it is a <strong>school group<\/strong>, a <strong>named list of pupils<\/strong> may be accepted instead of each individual discount card.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The list must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>School letterhead<\/li>\n<li>First name, surname, and date of birth of each pupil<\/li>\n<li>School stamp with the signature of an authorized person<\/li>\n<li>Date of the event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This method is suitable for school trips, excursions, or regular journeys of pupil groups as part of lessons.<\/p>\n<h4>c) Travel for other groups:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Each passenger must have a <strong>valid ticket<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It is possible to use the <strong>PID L\u00edta\u010dka mobile app<\/strong>, which allows the purchase of up to <strong>10 single tickets from one device<\/strong>. This option is suitable for group organizers who wish to keep tickets under control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Group travel on regional buses<\/h3>\n<p>On suburban and regional PID bus routes, <strong>no group ticket<\/strong> is available.
