Boarding through all doors will now be possible on almost a hundred daytime and ten night lines.<\/p>\n<h3>What is changing?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Expansion of the boarding through all doors regime to another 99 daytime and 10 night lines of the PID.<\/li>\n<li>The new regime follows on from the current test operation on 9 regional lines.<\/li>\n<li>It mainly concerns lines from Prague to surrounding municipalities that have more stops in the capital.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Benefits for passengers<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Faster boarding \u2013 less queues at the front door.<\/li>\n<li>Possibility of boarding through any door if you have a valid ticket (paper or electronic).<\/li>\n<li>Shorter travel times, especially during rush hour and therefore less delays.<\/li>\n<li>Still possible to buy a ticket from the driver (but boarding through the front door is required).<\/li>\n<li>Friendlier transport that can also appeal to new passengers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Which lines are affected by the change?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Daytime suburban lines: 300\u2013429 (except lines 305, 315, 345, 389, 392, 393, 395, 400\u2013407, 410, 412, 413, 415\u2013417, 420\u2013428)<\/li>\n<li>Regional lines with already established regime: 481, 484, 519, 705, 785, 801, 805, 823, 858<\/li>\n<li>Night lines: 951\u2013961<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How do you know that you can board through all doors?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The affected lines will be marked in the timetables, the PID L\u00edta\u010dka mobile application and connection search engines with the note BOARDING THROUGH ALL DOORS.<\/li>\n<li>Buses on these lines will be marked with a sign behind the front window and on the side of the door with information about the boarding mode through all doors.<\/li>\n<li>An information campaign will be carried out in the media and on social networks before the change is launched.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pid.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Nastup-vsemi-dvermi_cedule-M-scaled.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-195845 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/pid.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Nastup-vsemi-dvermi_cedule-M-1024x303.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>What do you have to do?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Do you have a valid ticket? You can board through any door.<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t have a ticket? Board through the front door and buy one from the driver.<\/li>\n<li>Expect more frequent inspector checks on these lines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Practical tips for traveling safely<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Have your ticket ready before boarding \u2013 on paper or in the PID L\u00edta\u010dka (this ticket must already be activated when boarding). What if I have a ticket in the mobile app?<\/strong><\/h3><div class=\"expandable-content\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In this case, you can board through any door. Please note that on these routes you can only board the vehicle with a valid travel document after its protection period has expired!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"expandable\"><strong>5. How do I know that my line now allows boarding through all doors?<\/strong><\/h3><div class=\"expandable-content\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can find this out from timetables, the PID L\u00edta\u010dka application, information signs on buses or information boards at stops or in vehicles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"expandable\"><strong>6. Why is boarding through all doors not available on all lines?<\/strong><\/h3><div class=\"expandable-content\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are not enough inspectors yet to expand the system to other lines. Suburban lines from Prague to the region were selected, which have many stops, the largest queues were formed on them and therefore we expect the greatest effect on these lines. From the suburban lines, those were excluded that have only one or two stops in Prague and at the same time have a long section without stops (typically express lines with a smaller number of stops).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"expandable\"><strong>7. Can I board through the back door even if I don't have a ticket??<\/strong><\/h3><div class=\"expandable-content\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No. Without a ticket, always board through the front door, where you can still purchase one from the driver (you can pay in cash or by card).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"expandable\"><strong>8. How do I secure a seat now? Until now, it was enough to arrive at the bus stop in advance and be at the front of the queue.<\/strong><\/h3><div class=\"expandable-content\"><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, this is a disadvantage of the new system. However, there is nothing stopping you from arriving at the stop earlier and getting on the platform at the place where the bus stops through the second or other door. You just need to have purchased your ticket in advance.<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"expandable\"><strong>9. Ticket checks will be more frequent?<\/strong><\/h3><div class=\"expandable-content\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yes, there will be increased activity by auditors on these lines to prevent abuse of the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"expandable\"><strong>10.
