Prague Integrated Transport - Tariff and Prices
About the age category: Adult 18 to 60 years
The category Adult includes all passengers from 18 to 60 years (excluding students of Czech schools under 26 years). Adult passengers always pay full price of tickets.
The fare
- When travelling only sporadically with PID, basic short-term tickets are offered to you

Short-term tickets for the age category Adult for travelling between Prague and the outer region - full-price
These short-term tickets are valid in the whole region, including the area of Prague (for exceptions see Remarks). The tickets are not valid on the line AE.
A purchased ticket needs to be validated.
A ticket is valid for the specified amount of time, regardless of the number of line transfers. A ticket is also valid only in the specified number of adjacent zones. For instance when travelling from zone 2 to zone 4, at least 3-zones ticket must be used.
Tickets issued by suburban bus drivers are valid immediately and therefore can not be validated.
