What ticket should I use?

Do you plan to use Prague public transport and you need to know what ticket to use and where to buy it? All of the following tickets are valid on all PID lines in Prague, which include: metro, trams, buses (apart from the line AE), Petřín funicular, ferries and integrated passenger trains (S lines).

All tickets are fully transferable, validity is limited only by time. Please do not forget to validate your ticket. You can find more information about ticket validation in How to travel around Prague.

Free travel: Children under 6 years and adults from 70 years of age travel for free.

(*) Discounted “half-price” tickets can be used by children from 6 to 15 years (from 10 years the child’s age needs to be proven appropriately).
