Luggage and dogs

The conditions for transporting luggage and dogs are slightly different in Prague, outside Prague and on PID trains.
Ticket prices vary depending on the method of purchase.

Time and zone validity is the same as the validity of passenger tickets, however no longer than 180 minutes.
If passengers have a ticket with a time validity of one or more days, they can transport one piece of luggage or animal for free (except on PID trains).
Dogs
Dogs can be transported only on a leash and with a muzzle. Small dogs can be also carried in an enclosed dog carrier box with a non-permeable bottom. More information about transporting a dog here: Traveling with a dog | Pražská integrovaná doprava Pražská integrovaná doprava.
Other small aniamls
An animal can be transported, provided it is carried in a cage, carrier box or a similar container with a non-leaky bottom. If the dimensions of the carrier fall within the dimension limit for small luggage (25×45×70 cm), it is carried for free. Otherwise carriage costs 25 CZK (App 23 CZK)
Bicycles
Bicycles can be transported only on the subway, trains, trams (only on specified line sections and directions from the city centre), ferries and the funicular to Petřín.
Bicycles in Prague
In Prague (zones P, 0, B) bicycles are transported for free in combination with a valid PID ticket for the passenger. If passengers travel to Prague by train with a railway ticket, they must buy a special train ticket for bicycles according to the fare of the railway carrier.

Bicycles in the Region
In the Region (outer zones 1-13) bicycle transportation is only allowed on trains. There are three options for bicycle tickets depending on what ticket is the passenger using:
- If the passenger has a PID ticket, they can buy a two-hour ticket for 30 CZK. This ticket is valid for 120 minutes from purchase only in the Region.
- If the passenger has a PID ticket, they can buy a day ticket for 80 CZK. This ticket is valid from purchase until 4 AM of the following day and is valid only in the Region.
- If the passenger has a railway ticket, they must buy a special train ticket for bicycles according to the fare of the railway carrier.
